Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

This is a quick, easy and healthy dip that is perfect for potlucks and picnics. The addition of honey and garlic powder add a nice balance.

Ingredients
1 can chick peas drained
Juice of half a lemon
Zest of one lemon
1 t fresh ground black pepper
1 large or 2 small roasted red bell peppers, from jar is okay
2 tbsp tahini paste
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Method
Add all of the ingredients, except olive oil to the bowl of a food processor. Process for 30-45 seconds. Continue processing while you stream in the olive oil. Process for another 30 seconds. Serve with pita chips.
